Edge Poly never takes custody of user funds. All assets remain in the user's wallet, and only narrowly scoped session keys are used to execute automated actions. If the target market lacks liquidity at the moment of execution, the Chain may pause depending on the fallback settings, or notify the user immediately. Users can modify Chain parameters such as slippage or fallback behavior at any time before the trigger fires. If the system appears stuck on “Waiting,” it is usually due to an unresolved source market or delayed data feeds, in which case the watchtower simply awaits confirmed resolution. Polymarket API delays do not cause premature actions since Edge Poly performs redundant verification from multiple data endpoints. Institutions or advanced users can deploy their own watchtower using the provided integration tools, guaranteeing deterministic execution behavior across private infrastructure.
